How the AT4 Is Built for Off-Road Tasks

The AT4 is a performance-driven configuration of the GMC Sierra. A two-inch factory-installed lift and an industry-first available carbon-fiber composite truck bed are exclusive to the AT4.

The AT4 comes as a Crew Cab model with a 69.9-inch short box or 79.4-inch standard truck bed.

With 10.88 inches of ground clearance, the AT4 can clear terrain that other trucks can't. The AT4 sports red recovery hooks, black chrome exterior accents, skid plates, 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with dark gray accents, and mud-terrain Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® tires.

Johnstown drivers can choose between two AT4 powertrains. The 6.2-liter V8 engine achieves 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while the Duramax® 3.0-liter turbodiesel produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Capable of taking on a 2,140-pound payload, the GMC Sierra AT4 has a maximum towing capacity of 9,200 pounds.

Like other GMC Sierra models, the AT4 features the first-ever six-function Multi-Pro™ tailgate, along with the same innovative trailering technology.
