Thomas Automotive loves our community and local businesses! We're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible, and we want to recognize other local businesses that do the same.

 

Thomas Automotive is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 100 years. Mark Thomas is the fourth generation of the Thomas family to lead the company. He is committed to continuing the legacy of his family by providing customers with the best possible automotive experience and upholding the core values of trust, dedication, and safety.

 

We are excited to showcase other local businesses that are making a positive impact in our community. Thomas Automotive is committed to supporting local businesses and helping them to grow, and we encourage you to do the same.

Randy's BiLo
Windber, PA and Johnstown, PA

Randy's BiLo is a family-owned grocery store that serves the communities of Winder and Johnstown, PA .  The store is known for its fresh produce, meats, and seafood, as well as its friendly and knowledgeable staff. 

"We pride ourselves on being a surprising store.  While not the largest in the area, but on that has a lot more than you would think." says owner Randy Salem.  Randy started working in the business in 1979 when BiLo was formally known as GEE BEE.  In 2008, Randy purchased both the Winder and Johnstown locations and that's when it became Randy's BiLo.

Cambria Regional Chamber's Gunter Leadership Program

Our Fixed Operations Performance Manager, Kyra Miller, worked with her team from the Cambria Regional Chamber's Gunter Leadership Program to host a one-day conference for local high school students. The Our Village Conference included 5 different sessions: workforce preparation, basics of loans and finance, personal first aid, stress management, and basics of car care. Our Parts Manager, Forrest Newman, and GM technician, Dillon Collins, taught these new or soon to be drivers how to care for their vehicle!

Community Arts Center

We are thrilled to cheer on our talented Thomas team member, Kyra Miller, as she takes the stage at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County! Her dedication and passion for the arts are an inspiration to us all. We are incredibly proud to support her involvement in this wonderful community event.

We were thrilled to host La Poco Diablo Tacos at our dealership recently! Their delicious food was a huge hit, and we loved seeing everyone enjoy their famous flavors. We're thrilled to announce that we're a sponsor of the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival at Thomas Automtoive! Thomas Buick GMC Bluejays

Huge congrats to the Thomas Buick GMC Bluejays for taking home the VEA Baseball League Championship! ⚾️ This team showed incredible skill and determination all season long. What a way to finish it off! 

Easter for Eli Basket Collection

Fueled by generosity, Easter for Eli, a local non-profit, spreads Easter joy to children in hospitals year after year. This year, Thomas Automotive joined their cause, filling a 2024 Buick Encore GX with delightful Easter baskets filled with age-appropriate gifts for these young patients. We believe that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact, and we hope our contribution brightens their Easter and brings smiles to their faces.

Rabies Vaccination Clinic

We're thrilled about the success of our recent Rabies Vaccination Clinic, held in partnership with the Humane Society of Cambria County at The dealership. It was fantastic to offer $10 rabies vaccinations to help keep pets in our community safe and healthy. At Thomas Buick GMC, community involvement is important to us, and we're always looking for ways to give back and make a difference.

Food Drive for the Johnstown Soup Kitchen

At Thomas Buick GMC, we were proud to host a food drive to support the Johnstown Soup Kitchen! Throughout the event, we collected enough donations to fill a brand new 2024 Buick Encore GX to the brim with essential food items. The generous contributions came from our community members who donated at Randy's Bi Lo, helping us fight hunger and give back to those in need.

Cat Yoga at Thomas Buick GMC

We're passionate about giving back to our community and love nothing more than a fun-filled event at our dealership! We teamed up with the Humane Society of Cambria County for a fabulous cat yoga session, and we're thrilled with the results. Not only did we have a blast, but we also raised over $600 for the Humane Society! The kittens were purring with excitement after seeing the stunning all new 2024 Buick Envista in our showroom! A huge thank you to everyone who participated and donated to this wonderful cause.

Pet Adoption Event at Thomas Buick GMC

We're passionate about giving back to our community, and we love finding ways to host fun events at our dealership.  One of our favorite events was a recent pet adoption drive in collaboration with the Humane Society of Cambria County.  It was heartwarming to see so many adorable cats and dogs find their forever homes, and we were thrilled to play a part in making those happy connections! Our dealership is pet friendly so bring your four-legged friend to test drive the redesigned 2024 Buick Encore GX!
