WHAT IS UVEYE?
UVEYE is a state-of-the-art AI system that uses computer vision technology to detect and identify issues present on a vehicle's underbody (Helios), wheels/tires (Artemis) and exterior (Atlas Lite). UVEYE uses line of sight to detect issues. If it is not visible, it will not be able to detect it.
Thomas Automotive has always believed in putting your safety first and that is why we have invested in this touchless vehicle inspection system that can scan all four tires and the underbody of your vehicle. This allows us to quickly identify any visible safety concerns that may be present on your vehicle.
ÂHOW DOES IT KEEP YOU SAFE?
Each time you visit our service department, you get a complimentary UVEYE scan of your vehicle (an $89.95 value). This cutting-edge technology uses high-powered cameras and Al to scan your vehicle from top to bottom, identifying even the tiniest issues before they turn into major headaches. It's like having an X-ray for your car, catching those sneaky leaks, worn-out tires, and hidden damage before they become costly problems or a safety issue. For example, it will identify potential substance leaks even if you come in for a service that would not normally involve your vehicle going up on a lift and inspected by a technician.
What Can UVEYE Detect?
EXTERIOR
- Identifies dents, dings, scratches, rust, paint defects, and broken glass
WHEELS & TIRES
- Sidewall Damage (such as cuts, gouges or bulges)
- Tire Age (alerts are triggered at 6 years or older)
- Low or Uneven Tread Wear
- Foreign Objects (such as nails or screws)
